Audio Playback problems

Trying to troubleshoot a problem when I encode divx to mpg 1 or 2. I have audio problems it really jumps a lot like through the whole movie but the first 5mins its okay then it starts to jump the video is fine the audio is not out of sync with the video at all I use TMPGENC to encode my movies and this is the first time this has happened with the audio any way to fix this problem I have also used an external audio converter and encoder but still the same problem I have also used virtualDub to convert the audio to wav but still the same problem.

I would actually suspect that this is a problem with your DVD player. Can you test your disc out on another DVD player (friend/family/work)?

it actually does it on my computer after its done converting so its not a dvd player issue cause I have converted many movies and played them on my dvd player and all work fine.
