If they made a thousand colors of sharpies, I'd buy a thousand sharpies.

I label CDR's no problem, but not my DVD-R's that causes playback problems.

I use injet labels for DVD and sharpie for my CDRs. I have no playback problem whatsoever with my cheap APEX 1100w. If anyone I know ever has problems, so what screw them. My discs work in my player and they look GREAT!

i never label my dvd/cd-r/-rw's.
i always put my newley burnt cd's/dvd's in a jewel case and label the jewelcase itself.

Whats all the hype about labeling with sharpie's??
I have done this for YEARS, and never had a problem
now, since reading some of the remarks in here, i just use the standard AVERY RETURN ADDRESS labels, and plop them right on the disk. No playback problems, nothing.
anything wrong with this????
These "Printable" cd's what sort of printer is required??? -
I use an Ultra Fine Point Sharpie... Have now for a couple hundred DVDs... not one problem. And I figure... for my $0.89 investment, I can label a couple thousand discs... money talks ..............
