  1. Okay, I'm looking for a good burning software. I've tried both Nero and Easy CD Creator. Both seem very basic. I'm looking for one that can create custom menus. Have a video background with music going, thumbnails, that kind of thing. I would like to be able to place the thumbnails wherever I want on the screen rather than just where it pre-sets them. Basically, I want the most advanced and customizable menu creator and burner I can find for making VCD/SVCD movies. Thanks for the help.

  5. When I was really into making xSVCDs I used TSCV. But is NOT a user friendly program (it's not that bad just poorly documented). VCDEasy is much easier and there are more guides for it.

But I was able to make still and motion menus with TSCV. And making chapter points (for multiple MPEGs), adding intro clips, multiple titles, loops, etc. is pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

However, it appears that the author of TSCV has let the program die (no new revisions in ~1yr IIRC) while VCD Easy continues to grow. Since getting my DVDR I still use TSCV to make motion menus (those motion chapter select menus like on the Matrix DVD) thou.
