Nero Technical Support

I am extremely frustrated with Nero's technical support. I have over the last three months been e mailing them to try and solve the problem with Nero Cover Designer, ie on editing text the font reverts to the default font rather than the ones previously entered (worked fine on 5.5 but I needed to upgrade so I could use my Sony DVD writer).

Now I have been told to await version 6, which presumably I will have to pay for, AGAIN. I know a lot of you use Nero so I am about to write a letter to the Directors of the company in an attempt to "kick some butt". It would be useful if I could demonstrate that it is not just me suffering frm this problem so the more of you that can confirm the problem the better chance that it can be resolved in version 5.

All this is a real pity since Nero's cover Designer has worked very well for me in the past.

hi scwood,

i had a nero problem (couldnt start nero 5.5.7.8) a few months back and i emailed their tech support but i actually got quite good service from them. Within a week i was given a clean up utility to clean my pc of all nero software and was actually given a serial number for the 5.5.10.20 to download from their website.

I think its just bad luck that you got caught in such a situation.

I've received this help as well but it does not solve the problem with the cover designer. Can you edit text in the cover designer without the font defaulting all the time.

well i cant say really cause nero is on my old p.c and i never used the cover cd designer,
