  1. (Picture Attatched)

Does anybody know how I can get rid of this thing? I'm not sure if it only affects mpegs or not, but it definitely appears both in Windows Media Player and Zoom Player? Is it a codec related issue?

I'd be grateful for any help, and please feel free to insult my intelligence ;D

    Cheers,
    -James

  3. Cuss. I'll attempt again ¬

I've figured out that it's the Elecard symbol, Which is one of my video filters. However, I still can't get rid of it no matter how much tinkering I do :(

do a forum search for Elecard - this comes up frequently, some previous threads will tell you how to remove it.

  5. Bah, all the posts I can find refer to MPEG-2. [edit]Which is fine, because this is an mpeg-2 related problem, cuss the world for my wrongness etc ¬¬[/edit]

I've tried removing all traces of Elecard from my system, but a few files refuse to deleted and when I run an mpeg the bastard watermark still pops up.

Whoever decided to employ this bastard watermark as a means of forcing people to register the elecard codecs or whatever should be shot dead >:
It's annoying enough fior Joe Public to locate where the problem's coming from, and the dancing display of idiocy all over his lovely movie is hardly going to encourage him to give this company money.

Anyways, rant over. I'll hunt down all of these elecard files, then I'll cut them to pieces >:
