I ran my first test of svcd2dvdmpg+ today, very nice program!!

I attempted to put 2 movies on 1 dvd. converted fine noi glitches I first tried to burn with ulead mf2 which wanted to convert the _dvd files so decided to burn with Nero using udf 1.02 which was a coaster=no disc

so what am i doing wrong.. or is there a different program that i should be using to burn the dvd with?

Why don't you let SVCD2DVDMPG+ author your DVD? If you have 2 movies then you can even have a menu!

And then burn it as a data DVD with either Stomp, CopyToDVD, or any other DVD burning (not authoring) proggy.

Or if you do want to author in another program try tmpgenc Author. That is what i use when a audio file is out of sync. And it works.

ok sorry guys i've been up to the beach for a couple of days for some r/r!!

after i finished converting it created a videots folder but it was empty.. i then moved teh _dvd files to the folder and burned with nero.. maybe i was wrong to do that.. I will try to use copy2one with data but I feeel like I am missing something.. it doesn't have to be authored does it?

I am wondering if i was right to move the _dvd.mpg files to the empty videots folder and then burning with Nero.. I am going to run it again to see if it is comes up empty again..

Listen I ran it again and all looks good except the final product is 1.5g the coaster in which I stupidly copied the _dvd.mpg to was 2.33.. is it normal for teh final to come out smaller??

I guess i'll burn and see.. as you can tell i don't really no whats going on.. read and burn.. trail and error

ok here is what i have..

a mix of svcd and vcd.. i had it author but in only authored the first movie in the vts folder which came out great.. still wouldn't play in my stand alone = nero.. played fine in my pc

I am running it again and adding another movie "daring"..

this is my last chance to play around tonight since i'll be off to work but i will attempt to burn with something other than Nero!!

ok ran it again and it still only put one movie into the vts folder at 1.5

if i seperate the VTS tree and add 3 seperate nodes that would then create 3 vts folders right?? how would i then burn?

The posible issue you have, looking at your log, is that you are mixing VCD & SVCD content. Not a problem but you must seperate the content into different VTSs. This would give you one VIDEO_TS folder containing your DVD which just so happens to contain 2 VTSs......

worked out perfectly thank you for your help!!!

I love this program... I was able to put 2svcd's and 1 vcd on the same disk!!

I also burned with nero as video dvd.. as they have resolved there issues with the standalone players
