    I *like* it!

(Actually, in some ways it looks even more impressive...)

  5. thinking about this...this is like saying to friends...oh you wanna learn about dvd backing up ...You can visit these two popular sites.
One is free doom9.org and has no ads
Another is dvdrhelp.com but has 3 ads on the frontpage.

I've seen tons of "freeware" labeled inapproriate. So many "crippled" freeware up the ying yang. For example...I was trying to help friends find a popup blocker for IE that was freeware (don't say Firebird cuz I do use that myself). Good freaking luck...there isn't anyone that isn't trying to sell you the "pro version" for a price. There was only one hosted on sf.net that is called akiller that is GPL.

DVDFAB isn't restricting anything...so on my homepage I'll continue to call it freeware and people can sue me for false advertising if they wish but I have nothing to gain or lose either way. Just trying to show people some of the many options out there when trying to backup dvds.

P.S. If those posts comes across harsh it isn't meant to be...just trying to may a point which I'm not really good at doing most of the time.

    Well ...

I think this entire THREAD is WAY off course. We should be talking about DVDFab and how it works and how to use it and report any bugs etc.

Can we all just forget about the whole FREEWARE/SHAREWARE garbage?
It's silly now and wasting a lot of space and getting us AWAY from talking about the program itself.

As for me I only tired the BETA 3 version on one dual layer DVD but it seemed to work just fine (using COPY COMPLETE DVD option).

  7. Joerg finally updated his homepage to reflect the license. Look at the bottom of the homepage and you'll find this:

"DVDFab is freeware and you can use and share it as you want.
If you like DVDFab and you use it often, please do register DVDFab.
By registration the nag screens will be removed."

I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.
