Hi,
Has anyone ever got a bad batch of BeAll's? Many people rave about them here and up until a month or two ago I was raving about them as well. They were the first DVD-R media that would play in both my standalones and could burn past 4gb without stuttering at the end. However, about halfway through the spindle of 50 I bought, they started crapping out towards the end of the disc (stuttering, freezing, etc), not just in the standalones but also in the PC. They burned with no problem and are recognized by the standalones. I confirmed with ADVD that they are indeed BeAll's, but since the last 10-15 discs have been doing it, I'm beginning to think I got a bad batch. It's not an incompatibility as the first half of the spindle play perfectly all the way through. However, it is extremely frustrating and has left me with a bad impression of BeAll's. Why is DVD-R media so damn unreliable??? I'm not about to buy a new DVD player because these media manufacturers can't get their act together...ok, now I'm ranting...sorry.
Anyway, anyone ever have a similar issue with the BeAll's?
