  1. hi all,

I have a load of vcds i recently aquired. I put them in my standalone dvd player and they are all reading as mp3 discs and not playing. When i checked them on the computer they ARE vcds and play using interwin no probs?
My dvd standalone accepts vcd, xvcd, so i dont understand why there not playing or recognising.

    They are not svcds either!

    Any ideas anyone???

Has your DVD player ever accepted your homemade VCDs, and if not, does your player play CD-Rs (not MP3s)?

Does your player recently been having trouble accepting any other media or formats, and when was the last time you had it cleaned?

  8. firmware update so the bush 2020 can play svcd's with sound.Use the link below to download the file unzip files and burn to a cdr.Put the cdr into your 2020 and it will update the firmware. On the page its self it dosn't say anything about the 2020 but its all to do with the chips used in the 2020.I'v just used this my self and it works great i'm now playing svd's.It took me a long time to find this so enjoy my hard work.
