  1. I created my first dvd with just basic text and one rectangle on the screen

    I want to have a backround and music playing and maybe a second screen for chapter selection

    Can someone help me out and please lead me in the direction of a forum or faq to answer my questions thanks

    You can use drag n drop for [Compliant Files] if you want to use movie parts for background just hold down the shift key and drag the preview pic to menu background set time ect. For thumbs do the same without shift key. You can also import audio,bmp,mpg,ac3.mpa,mp2,wav and I think mp3 and set loop or time as you like.

    And read HELP file very usefull.

    Also, make sure whatever sound you have for your background is *exactly* the same format as your movie sound -- all the sound in your project needs to be the same (so, for example, if your movie is AC3 5.1, so does your menu background sound have to be, and sampled at the same rate).
