I converted this movie to mpeg2 so I could burn it to dvd. However when it was finished in tmp the seperate audio file had no sound. I overlooked this assuming that I just couldn't hear it with my computer and put it in IFo edit to burn after which on dvd looked great but had no sound. I'm I doing something wrong in the conversion? There is sound in the orginal file so maybe I'm encoding it wrong. Any help would be hot.

As you tell us nothing regarding your method for converting the "movie" (which could be just about anyting with moving pictures) to mpeg2, it's not that easy to tell...
My guess is that the source audio stream is encoded in a way that your encoder can't handle. You're missing a codec, in short.
