I have just about decided to go with the Datavideo DAC100. I e-mailed Scenalyzer to check if this software would work with for scheduling captures and they responded that it will.
Now the question is what software to use for the recording. I checked on the Premiere 6.5 and it costs more that the DAC100. What other software will work with this? Could you also include a website for these. I have tried the tools at this site, but have not been able to find what I am looking for.

What features are you looking for?
Scenyliser can be used to get the video into your computer, as well as DVio and many others. If you need to be able to see the video as it comes in, that's different. Try DVD movie factory, for a cheap option. Also Editstudio from http://www.puremotion.com, or Vegas Video, or any other good editing package.Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -
My DAC 100 is on it's way. I was asking the same question. Actualy I was searching around the site. They all seem to agree that since the DAC is doing all the work... ANY capture software will do. DVIO is free. Have not tried it.
Don't give in to DVD2ONE, that leads to the dark side.
