i try to burn with nero and i get prompted to save image fil

I have used nero over and over
had a coaster last night
then i tried record max earlier
not sure what version, got it from download.com
trial
another coaster

anyway, i try using nero and everytime I click on "write" it then pops up a screen prompting me to save image file

what the hell is this and why am I getting it
I've never had this problem and have done over 100 dvd to 1 dvd-r

I'm following the same instructions as always, here is the site I followed instructions from

my burner is the sony external usb/firewire that is dvd-r and dvd +r

the selected burner that you are trying to use is an imager. When you get to the part to select your burner, select your actual burner.

I had that same problem when I first got my DVD+RW drive. I even tried to choose my DVD burner as the recorder, but found out that my DVD burner was very new, and my version of Nero wasn't. My version of Nero didn't support my DVD burner. If your DVD burner isn't one of the choices, try upgrading your version of Nero.
