  1. OK. Im new to this, I've been researching this site for at least a month, and can't get the help I need. So let me break it down...

I have a DVD I would like to record to a DVD-R. I would like to place JUST the movie on one DVD-R. And extras and what not on a second. I've read, and read. But, I always seem to get lost. Please someone provide some easy-to-understand steps for this simpleton. Thanks for all your help!

  2. 1: Rip the DVD with SmartRipper.
2: Re-encode the ripped files usinf DVDshrink into a VIDEO_TS folder (you create this folder).
3: Burn the VIDEO_TS folder using Nero or RecordNow as a data file.

Both SmartRipper and DVDshrink are free so look in the tools section.

download dvdshrink and use the above guide. Unfortunately it cannot be made any simpler than pictures with step by step instructions.
