  1. I have to decide between these two products for converting Analog Video to DV and then encoding to VCD using TMPGENC.
Dazzle Hollywood DV Bridge or Canopus ADVC 100. Which will give better DV quality ? Which products works without any problem ? I have read a lot of issues regarding Hollywood DV Bridge. Are they true ? Aren't there any issues regarding Canopus ADVC 100.
Dazzle DVB costs Rs.14550( US $296 approx ) in India.
    Canopus ADVC 100 costs Rs. 18700 ( US $391 ) in India.
Is it worth paying $95 more for Canopus ADVC 100?
Are there people who are using DVB and Canopus ADVC100 who can compare and tell me which is a better product?
Please help me friends as I have to get one of these soon.

I have used both and the Canopus comes out on top without a doubt. The Hollywood Bridge works great when it works. Had to return mine. The Canopus is bullet proof.

  3. It is obvious that Canopus ADVC100 is far better than DV Bridge. If you
check "Capture card comments" section, you will find over a hundred
    comments for the two devices.

On the other hand, if you can find DataVideo DAC100, it may be in the
same price range as DV Bridge. It seems that DataVideo DAC100 also has
    a good reputation.

The comments on the three devices can be found in the following three links.
