Why can i only use DVD+RW once with my DVD Burner?

I have a internal Plextor PX-504A DVD Burner that came with easy CD and DVD creator. I burned a movie on Memorex DVD+RW and it worked fine i put the DVD in a player to see if it worked and the movie played just like it should.

I only burned 30min of the movie to make sure it would work on my DVD player so i erased the DVD with easy CD creator now when i try to burn the hole movie easy CD creator wont let me use that disk. I tried another disk (Same brand) that i burned data to and then later erased it....it did the same thing when i try to use a DVD+RW disk that hasn't been used yet it works! I also tried to use Nero just to make sure it wasn't the program it had the same problem and asked me if i wanted to erase the DVD i said yes then it burned the movie but after it was done the disc was blank. Nero didn't give any errors.


I updated easy CD and DVD creator but that didn't help and there is no updates for the DVD Burner.
Anyone have a idea as to what's going on? Only thing i can think of is that the Memorex Media isn't compatible with the Plextor DVD Burner.

I am having a similar issue with my FUJI DVD+RW media.
I switched to Maxell and it is working fine. You are correct
that is might be a media is even though the media is supposedly
certified by Plextor!!

BTW What is your drive burning at with Easy CD?
I just updated to the 6.0.4.1 engine and 6.0.3.4 creator and the burn
speed is stuck at 1.1x!! The media is certified for 2.4.

but a lot of people are having issues burning movies with roxio dvd builder

check out their forum site

I have read EZCD sux, I use recordnow max and don't have any problems like that

I only use it for burning CDs. I will install the latest CDRWIN and see if I
have the same issues. Thanks for the suggestions

1. new version of Nero (www.ahead.de)
2. Erase RW.
3. Re-use.
