  1. I try to make a DVD with bonus features which also have chapters selection within the bonus feature.

Using DVDit, it join both the main feature and bonus into one VTS and therefore Chapeter 1 in the bonus feature is actually say chapter 21 when you try to use the numeric pad on the DVD control.

I think only authoring program that support multiple VTS can achieve that, am I correct? So what programs should I use? It seems only advanced scenarits can do it? Can DVDmasetro do it? If yes, is there a guide or manual on the web that can show how to do it? Can DVD architect do it?

Please help or tell me a method that can do it.

    Thanks

  2. yep, maestro can do this very easily.

    http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/maestro.htm

this guide shows you how to use it but i dont think it shows what you want.

if it doesnt it is just a case of adding another movie, you will see what i mean when you get use to maestro.

  3. Wilson, TMPG DVD can do it, add your main movie to track 1 then click "add new track" and add your bonus clips here. Use the Double track 1 or 2 menu template.

  4. thanks for the info. however, i still not satsified.....

I would like to create very custom menu...Tmpgenc author can only use 6 templates and I can only change the background image. Am i correct or there is some other updates I need to download so that I can do custom menu.

Using DVD maestro is harder but it's ok except I cannot find the manual anywhere on line.

I am wondering when you create the "hot spot" it will just have a kinda shadow box over on top of the button that you choose. You cannot create button menu like you can in DVDit, am I missing something.

    any suggestions would be great

  5. Wilson, TMPG is just for creating simple DVD menus, for the advance stuff use DVDlab, DVD maestro or even DVDit.
