I mistakenly recorded quite a few mini-DV tapes with my sony trv-20 in 12-bit mode before realizing it wasn't 16-bit. What should I have my settings as in Premiere. Is 12-bit sampled at 32 or 44 kHz in the camera? Also, do I select 8 or 16-bit in premiere settings? There's no option for 12-bit. I know I can probably have premiere deal with everything, but I don't want to run in to any audio/video synch problems. Thanks.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Nobody can help me with this question? It seems to be a reasonable one. Again, what settings do I choose in Premiere when my video was shot in 12-bit on a Sony camera? -
just convert it to 16bit and go on ... did you capture 4 ch audio at 12bit (what its for) or just two ?
its prob. 12 bit 32khz .. you can resample it in soundforge or besweet or in adobe .. -
Just two channel. So I should just set it up as 16-bit at 32 kHz or 44 kHz? Probably 44 and let Premiere upsample? I've never upsampled audio, so I don't know what kind of degradation to expect. I'll just give it a shot and see what happens. Thanks.
