Where can I buy a Sony or other +- writer in the UK?
The prices for the Sony I've seen so far are about £270 (incl VAT).
I can get the OEM versions for £200.
There aren't many places that sell them.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Served in England for 5 years, mid to late 80's. I understand your situation. I use to get hard to find items for brits through the post, without the queens tax. I've seen posts from other folks from the U.K. that have posted sites where to buy in the U.K. (no links please). Hopefully you'll find a source. In the U.S. I can take a 10 minute drive and choose from 3 different stores to buy the same product at. When I was in the U.K. I could drive for 10 minutes and I could still see barns and livestock. Good luck. Cheers!
