I want to author a DVD with only a simple main menu and a chapter menu. I prepared a separate MPEG-2 video file (m2v) and a 2 channel Dolby surround audio track (AC3). What authoring program should I use best? I've tried DVDit PE and besides crashing on a regular basis I get the "build failed Unknown error (BRErr, 1)" message when I try to burn. Any suggestions?

very flexable, full-featured program.- housepig

Housepig Records
out now:
Various Artists "Six Doors"
Unicorn "Playing With Light" -
My suggestion would be grab a couple of demos and a DVDRW, and burn some test copies.
Front runners would be:
Sonic DVDit $400
TMPGEnc DVD $100
Ulead DVD Workshop $300
or Media chance DVD-Lab $100
I tested each and decided the later was better suited to my needs.--
