  1. Just upgraded from a celeron 433 w/ 128MB SDRAM to a 1.7GHZ celeron and a new motherboard with 256MB DDR. Holy crap! A one minute AVI to VCD used to take about 5 and a half minutes. It is now taking a minute and a half. I used to never try to make a DVD. Now that one minute AVI took about 2 and a half minutes. Hooray! I'm smiling like a butchers' dog....

  3. Well theres a thing, you more than trebled your processing power and your encoding times went down to less than 1/3 of what they were, who'd have thought it
