Im converting VOB files to DivX using Virtualdub. Slowly audio and video drift apart..what am I doing wrong??

Try using dvd2avi to convert your vob files to avi. Its a pretty easy program to use, if you need further help look up a guide on this site on how to do it, there should be one for dvd2avi conversion. If your wanting to create a (s)vcd then make sure you select decode to wav in the audio setting and then save your project, this will create a d2v file and wav file which can be used in tmpgenc to encode to mpeg and then you can go on with burning your mpeg(s) to (s)vcd with nero, easyvcd and/or some other burning programs
