  1. i have a cendyne packaged nd-1100a and dvd decrypter 3.1.6.0. i seem to get really slow dvd ripping speed out of it. i had a hitachi 8x dvd rom that would rip up to 7.7x back in the day.

    my current system is:
    shuttle xpc ss51g
    2.0 p4 oc'ed 2.4
    512 meg ddr
    80 gig 7200 rpm maxtor
    40 gig 5400 rpm maxtor
    windows xp pro
    nec nd-1100a firmware 1.A0

at best all i get is 4.4x out of it in ripping speed. am i doing something wrong?

  4. Most of the writers ar locked at 2x. I use a LiteON DVD drive for ripping.
