Mpeg2 file problems

Not sure if this is the right place,

Have been converting SVCD -> DVD for a while now, but i have come up stumped with Daredevil. 15mins into the second cd there is a very quick *squreech* and then the SVCD continues, but when joining the 2 mpgs or spliting that mpg into audio/video it stops at the 15min mark of that disc. Any idea's are much appriciated.

I think there is a problem with the origional svcd so you can do 2 things:
1. download the bad file again an hope you get it right this time
2. open your favorite editor and cut the *squreech* out
