Hi, I am attempting to author an SVCD that has 3 parts(mpegs) and this is as far as it goes:

    Starting (S)VCD2DVDMPG+: v1.0.1241.36185
    Begin time: 1:24:06 AM

    ############### New MPEG File ###############
    File: E:\folder\file1_02.mpg
    Horizontal Res: 480
    Audio SampleRate: 44100

    ******** Demultipexing original mpg file

******** Resampling audio from 44.1 KHz to 48 KHz

    ******** Multipexing elementry streams

From this point no DOS window pops up. I am able to start over or close the program, but the same thing happens. Also, I have not changed any config settings. Thanx in advance for the help.

Actually I've seen this a bit. It happens for one of two reasons:

    1. MPlex doesn't like the files, for any of a number of reasons... USUALLY related to a "padding" stream that has been included in a number of SVCD's lately.

    2. There's a missing audio stream... because BeSweet didn't finish properly or something like that. If Mplex doesn't have BOTH input streams, it'll hang/crash and the whole process will just go belly-up.
