Upgrade from 1.1 to + problem

I first started out with installing the svcd2dvdmpg1.1 and last night i bought the + version. i went to install it day and it says "Unable to install because a newer version of this product is already installed" why is it doing this and how can i correct it? thanks.

You have to uninstall svcd2dvdmpg (1.1) from add/remove programs via the control panel. After this you should have no problems installing...

There was no SVCD2DVDMPG in the add/remove in control panel. Don’t say look again because I have checked a couple of times thinking I would have just missed it. Then I went to windows explorer and deleted it form there and it still not working. After that I went looking for the registries. But I quit looking for them. Any reason it would not be in the add/remove folder? I just checked again to make sure I saw correct and it is not there.

Yes I did. i have used the + version now as well and it works great thanks. just a side note. this is one of the only pieces of software i have bought so be proud. Great work.
