Sounds strange...... can you specify more about all codecs you installed? Hope you didn't install the angel codec....

There aren't 3 XviD codecs. Sorry. There is 1) Current stable Release, 2) Current Release (not as stable) and 3) Latest Beta build. These change weekly? Although the latest stable build went a year at one point before being updated.
All 3 are not compatable.
What your computer is probably doing is displaying the video in native resolution. Simply use the full-screen command for whatever player you are using. To Be, Or, Not To Be, That, Is The Gazorgan Plan -
i downloaded all 3.
even in full screen,it still showed small.
but you will not believe this.
i was so pissed off last night,
i switch off the pc and went to bed.
i woke up just now,on my pc and everything was back to normal.

I am having the same problem with Xvid!!! I have yet to make Xvid work for me
When I play back videos that are Xvid I only get (in play back) a tiny little box on the bottom left corner on my PC and TV screen?!?!
I installed one at a time (as a trial and error) every codec from this page.
http://www.divx-digest.com/software/xvid.html
Not one of them allowed me to play back Xvid as a full screen on my PC screen or my TV screen. I also installed ffdshow as another forum mentioned I needed to playback Xvid to have it work !
I also have tried these players as well.
WMP
PowerDVD
Divx player
I am at a loss here and plan to only use Divx vs Xvid at this point unless I can solve this problem. My eyes were killing me after 20 mintues of watching the tiny box
Any help is much appreciated!!!
Thanks In Advance,

As Gazorgan says you have to instruct the player you are using to play full screen. Most I've come across don't unless you tell them to or you've made it a default setting.
Doesn't sound like it's anything to do with xvid at all or you wouldn't get any playback at all -
