    This is the second time that I'm asking this question. I'll only hope that somebody could help me!!

    Here we go again.

    I'm trying to edit the subs into the avi.

    What I've done is:

    Load the AVI into the Virtual Dub;
    Set audio to direct stream copy;
    Set filters to textsub;
    Set video compression XVID MPEG 4 Codec....

    And saved the avi....

    Afther awhile a get this strange error....

    Error decompressing video frame 166196: An unknown error occured (may be corrupt data). (Error code -100).

    Does somebody knows what this error means?

    What happens when you scan the video stream for errors?

    Sounds like the video is corrupt. Common problem if you downloaded it. Use VDUB to check it for errors. What codec is the source file(s)?
