Hi everyone!
First of all I'd like to say how much this site has helped me with numerous video-related problems I've faced...keep up the good work!
Now my problem is kinda wierd...I wanted to view a few SVCD files I've had, so I downloaded the Elecard MPEG2 Player V1.30. It played the files which are NTSC @ 29.976 fps, but the playback was jerky as hell (not to mention the audio which was out of sync) so I got the latest version instead, Elecard MPEG2 Player 2.1. The codec plays the files nicely now, but for some odd reason the player renders the stream @ 24 fps (which I can check with right clicking on the program which gives you the file properties and the rendering properties)...so I decided to just get PowerDVD which was praised by alot of people here, which of course has its OWN MPEG2 codec built-in (which is why I un-installed the Elecard codec first...) but this program ALSO plays my SVCDs @ 24 fps...
ANY idea how I could get these codecs to play the SVCDs at the proper frame rate (29.976 fps)?
And also can you recommend the best tool for joining two MPEG2 files from the editing section?
Really sorry if my questions are a bit annoying...I'm a little new...
THX alot in advance!!!
