Hi,
I use quicktime with Win98 and have a problem.
For quite a while now all .mov files I play have distorted sound. I tried to download other files, installed a newer version (6.1) but the sound is bad all the time.
I can't believe that all .mov files i download are in some way corrupted so it must be problem with quicktime or my PC in general. No problems with sound with other files.
Someone from the Mac-forum suggested it might be a codec problem, so could it be and what can I do?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Gwion

Hi,
No response so far
Ok, would it help if i de-install quicktime and install it again? If it's a codec problem a new version would change the needed settings, wouldn't it?
Thx,
Gwion
