  1. yup that about sums it up it does it's thing then BOOM all black screen i am running win xp home sp ? so yeah this makes me mad i fianlly learn to use it and it dont werk!

  3. We are going to need a lot more detail on your problem, tmpgenc and black screen does not really conjure up a very precise picture.

    Also try changing your post title.

    You may have answered your own question --- ...and i am runnin out of hd space

    You failed to mention : what thing it is doing - try single pass (CQ , CBR)
    Try removing excess files from the drive - eg: temp files and that idiotic restore feature (either turn it off or tone it down a few gigs)

  5. right then .... when it's encoding it says all is well, then when it finishes there is nothing there all black screen i tried using the wizard thinkin i did somthing rong but it does the same thing i have tried dlin different versions of tempeg but they all do the same thing ... and dood the reason for runnin out of room on mah hd is my vids r staying till i encode and burn them heh any way thats the best way i can Xplane the encoding prob i hope that helps a lill bit more

  6. it sounds like you are missing a codec.
    try installing the "nimo lite pack", its a pack of codecs that might be what you need.
    the full pack of nemo has a lot of junk in it, thats why my advice is
    the lite pack.

    and what are you using to play the converted file?
    if you are making a svcd then you need power dvd or any other program
    that has a mpeg 2 decoder in it to play the file.
