  1. hi i just sucessfully converted the first half of an avi to svcd....audio sync is perfect on disc1.....now i wanted to do the second half and...i keep getting an error because the audio is out of sync....i know this because the frame im starting from is 70127 but the sound begins from before that point...but i ripped the wav with virtual dub 1.54 and had no problems with the first half.....heres the error i get ........"Index of scan line is out of range (320)" .........i get this error when i begin to convert the avi and wave to mpeg with TMPGEnc ..........how can i fix this?

  2. Why don't you convert the entire film to mpeg and THEN split it into two using tmpgenc's merge and cut under tools.

  3. ive already tried that but for some reason the Xvid rips convert without any audio at all. now i have ripped the entire wav and still no luck any other suggestions?

    It sounds like the AVI was split improperly. They should always be split on a keyframe.

    The two may be unrelated. It sounds like the AVI is showing up with the wrong frame size. You could always frameserve it to TMPGenc to get around the error (check the GUIDES section).

    I would suggest you set your range (starting on frame # 70127) in VirtualDub, and then frameserve that to TMPGenc.

  5. Hey I've had the same problem. You're going to have to load the movie into virtual dub, use full processing on audio...44100 16 bit sound stereo etc. save to wav... then multiplex with virtual dub, then tmpgenc will recognize the audio part of the vid too. then you can split the mpeg into 2 parts using cut an edit with tmpgenc
