    Hi,

    Not quite sure if this is the appropriate forum since I use quicktime for Win98 but ..
    For quite a while now all .mov files I play have distorted sound. I tried to download other files, installed a newer version (6.1) but the sound is bad all the time.
    I can't believe that all .mov files i download are in some way corrupted so it must be problem with quicktime or my PC in general. No problems with sound with other files.

    Any ideas?

    Your codecs may have screwed up something. You will probably get more help in a PC forum, while Apple does make Quicktime, a PC forum may be better able to help.
