Hi I have a huge AVI file that I need to splint into 3 30 min files is there any way to do this easily with ffmpegX or mencoder i was told to use the options -ss and -endpos with mencoder but that requires you to know what keyframe you start and stop at and i have no clue how to find out.

its one file that has 3 episodes of a show in it and I need it split into 3 different files. I hope someone knows how to do this. Thanks in advance.

  2. ffmpegX can split AVI, by opening them in Open.., going to the Filters tab, setting the "start from:" position, clicking preview to check if it is the good point to split, and clicking Split to split.

Sorry, but the SPLIT Funktion isn't working anymore in the Version 0.0.7a . Opening the AVI, entering the Time reuslts an hit split. Then ffmpeg works for 2 seconds and says "finished". But nothing happend. The preview Funktion works normal.

    Whats this?

The Autocrop Funktion isn't working too.
