  1. I am using Womble Mpeg2Vcr to cut and join my mpeg2 files. There are 2 questions. One is, is there a limit at the size of the mpeg file that it can open? Is it 2000mb? I ask this because whenever I try to open an mpeg file over 2000mb, there is no response from the program.
The second thing is, the mpeg files it created are always 16:9, is there any way to change it?

It usually keeps what ever AR the input file is.

To change it, when you save a clip click on the video button, it says pel-aspect ratio. For 4x3 set it to 3/4, 16x9 is 9/16.

To change an MPEG you've already saved, just use Re-Stream, DVD Patcher, or any other MPEG header tool.

I've used MPEG-VCR with upto 22 gig mpeg2 files, perhaps your using an older version? Or that mpeg has a problem with the gop at that point. Try to run the MPEG GOP fixer, see if it fixes it.

  3. What is the latest version?
I am using 3.03, and I don't have the option to change aspect ratio.
May be it is all because of the problem of my old version. Where can I find the latest version?
