You can get the hardware and software to do it, or simply send the tapes to me

I have found the easiest, maybe not the cheapest, but the best way is to get a mini dv digital camera such as the sony trv17. I dub the vhs to the camera onto a digital tape. Now I have a good digital copy.
Then import the footage into premiere with firewire and youa re good to go. Forget all of those capture cards and inputting through the computer. A real pain. The cost is the limitinf factor here.

Well its posible but depends on how much hardware you might own and what you want to spend.. In order to accomplish sucha task, you need an svideo connection on your vcr and svideo in on your video card. and then do it like that. I imagine it wopnt be half as good quality though since u r going from analog to digital but give it a try.. I dont know though.. never done this.
