  1. i'm following the insructionon this site but still my first helf comes o.k but the seconed helf comes just with audio and withe black screen.
    can someone help me?
    do you have other freeware for spliting svcd?

  2. I've had the same thing happen to me....I forgot to reset the template (Type MPEG-2 Super VideoCD VBR)...doh

  3. I find it much easier (and less prone to developing errors) if I spilt the files prior to encoding.

    1) Click on settings, then click on the advance tab
    2) Double click on 'source range.'
    3) Choose the start/stop frame (there's a time stamp in the top left).
    4) Choose File | Save Project
    5) Go back and choose the rest of the movie
    6) Choose file | Save Project (make sure you have different MPEG output names and project names)
    7) Choose File | Batch encoding
    Add both projects, and hit run.

    Remember, if you're DVD player supports x(S)VCD you might want to use a bitrate calculator to fill up each disc, for better quaility.
