    I have a dvd movie that has been authored to a .img file and when i try to open this in nero it asks me for modes.

    What do I need to select - should I be using another piece of software to burn it???

    Why don't you use Alcohol 120% or some other Image burning program ? or even convert the image to ISO using WinISO ?

    The free and easy way would be to burn it using DVD Decrypter.
