  1. I have burned a movie using DVD Lab, which if played from start to finish works fine. But the problem is with the trying to skip to a chapter from the menu screen. The audio from the scene selected will play, but the video stays frozen on the menu. The same problems occurs when you are playing the movie and you attempt to fast foward, rewind or skip chapters. What did I do wrong?

are you playing the video on a software player on the computer, or on a set-top player?

if on a set-top, have you had this problem with any other dvd's you've burned?

if you haven't played it in a software dvd player, try that and see if it does the same thing.

I have used DVD Lab now for several projects, and I haven't had any problems - but my player will play anything I throw at it.

  3. Housepig,

The problem is with everything I've tried playing it on. PowerDVD, 2 different stand alone Sony's, a portable Panasonic.

Never made a movie before so, I've never have had this problem before.

Also I used TMPGEnc to convert to MPEG2, and to demultiplex the file
