So, what do you want your final result to be?

    MOVIE ONLY?

MOVIE WITH MENU OPTIONS BUT WITHOUT MENU?

    Slick -

I believe the original poster is removing extras, and he wants to remove the menu option that says "extras" from the list of menu items, instead of leaving a dead button that doesn't link to anything.

The short answer is the only way to really do it is to rip and re-author the whole thing with a new menu. Most other methods leave you with a dead link on the menu.

    Thanks housepig,

Now that I read it a little closer, that sounds exactly right.

Well, vtecwil, the only option I can think of is the one housepig already stated. Reauthor a whole new menu.

I think you are talking about removing the link to a full version of same film on same DVD [RE: 16:9 and 4:3] on same DVD. Isn't that a dumb idea, I use IC7 for most of these because if you eliminate one version it is under the 4.38 and thus fast but you have to remove the other version link in the menu and change the call in the .ifo to actually call the version you kept to make them work and look correct.

I have found if you do not do this and just hit play you will just get a loop and the film will not work properly. If you do not want to do the modifications. I have found if you >select chapter selection >chapter one>play>then version it will play correctly, as a work around.

    hope this helps
