I want to buy a DVD burner that is good and can write most types of media.
Like -RW and +RW.
Is the new Sony one the best?
I want to spend less then 400 dollars.

I personally love my Sony DRU500AX. I have had no problems with it and it supports all DVD media accept DVDRAM disks.
Hope this helps. -
Wait for the Poineer A06, it will be a dual media and has a good reputation on the -R/RW side of things, and you may be able to get it at a very good price. Althought it may have teething problems???
Cendyne/Pioneer 105 & 104 with a Dazzle* Hollywood DV-Bridge. -
The Pioneer A05(cendyne dvr-105) seems to work with the majority of the media out there. I don't think its necessary to buy a dual drive seeing as how most people that use dual drives primarily use dvd-r because of the lower price.
