I have been trying to create a divx file from my st:ds9 season dvd's using dr. divx. After ripping the vob's to hard drive i am able to import the vob's to dr. divx but it dosent pick up the audio and aks for another audio source. I have tried using dvd2avi to save the audio as an ac3 file but when i put that in dr. Divx it crashes. I have also used dvd2avi to save it as a wav file and dr. dvix accepts it, but when i encode the audio is out of sync. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem? Also Has anybody used dr. divx before and had this problem? and is it even worth using?

    Thanks

    Hello

The best DivX creation tool that is easy-to-use would be GORDIAN KNOT

You can find it on the DOOM9 website along with a guide on how to use it.

It is best to use DVD2AVI just to extract the AC-3 audio then either use it for the DivX video or convert it to MP3.
