  1. ssup all experts, please help with converting avi and mpeg files to rmvb format.
I have some rmvb files and found it quite usefull as of the small size. I can have like 400 mins of tv shows or movie in one CD and the quality are quite watchable.
I tried the Helix producer plus 9, but couldn't choose the VBR convertion from the option menu. it states the Multi-audience SureStreame is not supported for VBR.
anyone knows using Helix producer? or anyone knows any other program can convert to RMVB? some guide of those??

    thanks in advance ~~

    Search Comp PM
    Click the audiences button
Select the profiles on the right and click on trash can to remove them from list
Then select whichever vbr profile you want
    edit:
With HQ videos this format seems to give significantly higher compression than DivX for same quality.
e.g. Normally I encode widescreen videos from HQ sources at 600 kbps(video only) at 480 width and 4:3 videos at 400 width, with two pass DivX, when I post clips on the net. I seem to get same quality with 350 kbps including audio with rmvb format provided the original video is HQ.
Surprisingly it is as bad as before with non-HQ videos!!
