I am having X2 rip speeds on my HP 200j but it used to be higher (7x-8X). I checked the DMA setting in IDE device manager and found my second drive to be DMA Enabled but currently using PIO. There is not an option to change the PIO setting because the preferred drop-down already says DMA.
Any clues on how to get both Primary and Secondary to use the DMA?

Thanks a lot A4. It was a simple answer but I would have been too hesitant to mess with my system if you didnt suggest it. Thanks again.
