Problem with no SOund

The problem I am having is that when I convert a SVCD to DVD. I follow the 'HOW TO CONVERT MULTIPLE SVCD'S TO ONE DVD WITHOUT LOSING QUALITY' guide. Everything seems to go smoothly. BUt once I author the DVD files and am ready to burn, i try to play the files with Power DVD. I get video but no sound at all. Previously, I burned a copy and it played on my Apexx player with no sound. What am I doing wrong?
