Veritas???

My buddy just bought the sony dvd -+ external burner. The program veritas came with the burner. The problem he is experiencing is that sometimes when he would put a dvdr in the drive it would eject it and say error reading disk. Is this the program or just a sh**ty burner. Any help would be appreciated.

If you try to read a blank DVDR with windows exployer you will get all kinds of weird stuff. Veritas? I think you are talking about RecordNow which is a CDR and DVDR burning program.

Yeah I think so. They both use the same PX engine. I do think they're the best dvd-r burning programs - whether you use Prassi Primo DVD or Record Now Max, they're both built on Vertias Px Engine.

There's an angine update posted at Sonic.com under the recordnowmax section.

Both have worked flawlessly for me.
