  1. I have never had this problem before, but since upgrading to the newest TMPEGEnc, it is giving me incorrect frame counts on my file. Every other program reports the file as 174184 frames. However now TMPEGEnc is claiming it is only 174175 frames. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I haven't checked other files besides the one yet as I didn't notice it until a couple of hours into the encode and it is still encoding (2-pass VBR, Highest Quality Motion on a 2 hour movie. It'll take a while). Just checking to see if anyone else has noticed this. The previous version of TMPEG did recognize the file as 174184 frames. The file is actually IVTCed and consequently frameserved through AVISynth but every other program (CCE, VDub, MainConcept) recognizes it with the correct number of frames. Thanks.

  2. is anyone else experiencing this? I have now confirmed that every other program recognizes and encodes 174184 frames, but TMPEGEnc (newest version) won't. It only recognizes 174175 frames. Even more weird, when I load the resulting mp2 in TMPEG again, it only sees 174174 frames. Someone has to be experiencing the same thing....

I would bet it's not recognizing the last GOP in the MPEG. I'd bet it was cut in a bad place, or it's not closed, so it's simply discarding it. Does it make a difference it the MPEG is frameserved to TMPGenc?
Impossible to see the future is. The Dark Side clouds everything...
