    Whats the best programme to use when caputring video for vcd on the apple mac?.

    Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    I have a Formac TV card and use BTV EDIT (www.btv.org.uk) for capturing. BTV is much better than the Formac software - no frame droppings if you use the propriate record codecs: I prefer VIDEO (100% quality) and NONE (16 bit, 44 khz, Stereo, AIFF). Before you record, create a recording partition on your harddrive and erase this partition before each capture session to prevent a bad record from disk fragmentation. That's it.
