  1. Like the one you can use in Dreamcast to make it play VCDs. Is there one for DVD players? Thanks for anyhelp.

BTW, I have an Ortiron 100 and VCDs won't work in it and I have a test version of a boot disc for Dreamcast, but the quality and stuff isn't so great. Thanks for any help!

  2. In the DVD Players compatibility and user comments listed for the Oritron DVD100 it says that it will play vcds but not on cdr's only on cdrw's.

Because I'd rather watch them on my 32 inch tv while sitting on my sofa, than on my 19 inch monitor while sitting on a hard backed chair.

  5. All I use are CD-R's, I'm too cheap for CD-RW's.

All you really need is one, since you can reuse it... of course that's not very useful for archiving since you'd have to copy the file from your cdr to watch it. Try looking for some really cheap cdrw, the no-name ones might work well enough for you.
