hi. all at vcdhelp.
i have a problem. i canīt make a svcd using TMPGEnc.
the source video is an avi 640*480 interlaced from a
pinnacle studio dc10 plus.
the templates that have TMPGEnc no solves this case.
i try to configure TMPGEnc and deinterlaced the video with the filters
but i have bad results: lose of sharp or improper field order svcd
is generates.
if you can guide me or help me thank you.

If it's an improper filed order then change the field order during deinterlacing (slect "odd fields" instead of "even fields"). Loss of sharpness is a direct result of deinterlacing. By deinterlacing you're throwing away half of your video data.
The best solution... DON'T deinterlace. SVCD supports interlaced video. Play it back on the PC with good DVD software and you'll be fine. It will also look good in your home player.Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
